About the company:
We are working with an exciting Fintech SaaS startup based in Malta who are now looking to add their first dedicated Partnerships Manager to the team. As a business, their platform provides the ability to manage cross border payments globally whilst also integrating with major ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and others, offering the ability to blend treasury operations with international payments. Through both corporate integrations with global banks and leveraging Open banking, their clients are able to get a complete view of their multicurrency accounts in real time whilst also pairing that with their total treasury function. They have previously raised 2M investment and are now at profitable status. They are also always adding new features like their recent FX Hedging offering providing additional key differentiators against their competitors.
The role:
The Partnerships function has been managed by the co-founders; their CTO has been looking after the banking partnerships and ensuring the technical integrations are in place, while the CEO has been managing commercial partnerships. The role will be solely focused on the commercial elements exploring partnerships in the market to generate referral opportunities. Some of the hotspots we are looking at will be ERP resellers, ISVs, and Payments. Your role will see you as both a hunter and farmer, building relationships with new partners and selling the value proposition, as well as managing the relationship and ensuring the best possible process for partner onboarding, training, and shared initiatives such as webinars, whitepapers, and other techniques.
Required Skills:
- 2+ Years experience working within a Partnerships related position
- Experience both selling and managing partner relationships
- Knowledge of the ERP landscape; any relationships with ERP resellers, Payment companies or ISVs will be very beneficial
- Ability to work well in remote settings
- Self-motivated, driven, strong organisation
- Proactive when it comes to driving new initiatives to drive strategy and improvements
- Understanding of core partnership strategy concepts from onboarding, partner marketing and partner negotiations
Whatβs in it for you?
As the first person to join the business with a core focus on Partnerships, this will present a vast opportunity for you to not only make a real impact on the continued success of this business but also your own career progression. This role could see you in prime position to scale out the partnership function, giving you a clear path to head of Partnership and beyond. Along with the opportunity for growth, you will be working within a company with a true people-first mentality that provides full flexibility around remote working, offers you autonomy to make a meaningful impact, and will provide a support system to help overcome challenges within the role.

Does this sound like an opportunity that would be of interest to you? We would love to hear from you and have an initial conversation to explore the potential fit. This role is open to anyone based across the UK or EU with full rights to work in your country of residence; we are unable at this time to provide any form of visa sponsorship.
