Position: Accounting Clerk (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Morgan Creek Ave, Surrey, BC V3Z 0R7

Hours: 21 hr/wk

Salary: $27.81/hr

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team! Ideally, this individual must be a strong positive model by being energetic, creative, and resourceful while also possessing strong interpersonal teamwork skills.

Description of Position:

Reporting to: CFO

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day accounting activities that can include the following but not limited to:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Invoicing
  • Payment processing
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Month-end processing
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

Physical Demands of Job:

Qualifications:

Education/Designation Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of related accounting experience
  • Diploma in accounting is an asset

Technical Skills:

  • Sage 300 (ACCPAC) is an asset
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Smartsheets is an asset

General Experience:

  • Experience working in a non-profit environment is an asset
  • General knowledge of IT and Telephone infrastructure
  • English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
