We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales team leader, to lead an already high-performing sales team within a fast-paced and growing business. This is a strategic leadership role suited to someone who thrives on coaching successful teams, driving performance, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales leadership, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to oversee multiple regions while ensuring consistent delivery across the business. Experience within the construction industry would be highly advantageous, although it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop an established and successful sales team
  • Drive sales performance across multiple regions and ensure targets are achieved
  • Manage and analyse sales pipelines to identify opportunities, risks, and growth areas
  • Take ownership of larger, high-value opportunities and lead negotiations through to close
  • Oversee tender management processes, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time
  • Monitor reporting, forecasting, and KPI performance across the team
  • Ensure all customer follow-ups, quotations, and opportunities are being effectively managed
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships with a consultative and professional approach
  • Work strategically with senior leadership to support continued business growth
  • Implement and improve sales processes, accountability, and team performance standards
About You
  • Proven experience managing and leading a successful sales team
  • Strong strategic and commercial mindset
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, particularly with larger orders/contracts
  • Experience analysing pipelines, forecasting, and reporting on sales activity
  • Confident overseeing multiple regions and managing team performance remotely where required
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in tender management and large-scale quotations
  • Relationship-focused with exceptional communication and client management skills
  • Construction industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Driven, hands-on, and capable of leading from the front
