Our client, an established British shoemaker brand, is actively seeking x2 enthusiastic and confident Junior Field Sales Account Managers to join their growing sales team at their headquarters in Northampton. This role would ideally be suited to a second jobber who is aspiring to make a career in sales.
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing and new customers
- Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
- Visiting existing and prospective new customers periodically
- Working closely to a budget as set by the Sales Manager
- Being the first point of contact for customer issues
- Negotiating with customers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer
- Self-management of expenses, mileage and budget
- Self-motivation and drive. Responsible for own administration
- Ensure that excellent customer relationships are maintained, by being available for customer queries as and when required
- Liaison with the Sales Manager on a continuous basis
- Support the Sales Manager in the promotion of the brand to include the UK and export exhibitions
- A strong and continuous focus on business development and forward planning for business needs
- Weekly travel plan and reporting
- Attend international Exhibitions
To fulfil the duties of this post you will be someone with a solid sales background who thrives and is driven by new business and meeting targets. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to lead in negotiation and build business relationships. This is a field sales role and the ideal candidate must be happy to travel on a daily basis to meet with clients. Therefore, you must hold a full Driving Licence.
