SourceCo Recruitment are currently looking for a Metal Fabricator for a well-known client based in Bromsgrove on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication and will be confident working with aluminium and mild steel, using a range of hand and power tools, and have a strong understanding of basic engineering processes.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm OT Available

Salary: £31,200 per annum + OT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate aluminium and mild steel components from technical drawings
  • Cut, fold, and bend sheet metal in line with design specifications
  • Measure and shape materials using hand and power tools
  • Perform basic engineering tasks including drilling, tapping, threading, and countersinking
  • Work collaboratively within a team to meet production deadlines

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator
  • Experience working with Aluminium and Steel
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings (ideal)
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Good numerical skills for accurate measuring and calculations
  • Strong communication skills and team-focused attitude
