A leading manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to support site operations and drive a strong health, safety, and compliance culture across a busy production environment. The Role
You'll play a key role in maintaining training standards, supporting audits, reviewing procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and reviewing risk assessments and site procedures
- Conducting workplace inspections and compliance checks
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Delivering training sessions, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Managing training records and competency reviews
- Monitoring site hygiene and compliance standards
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with operational teams to promote best practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- IOSH qualification (essential)
- Experience delivering training in a workplace environment
- Strong understanding of health and safety principles
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working with employees across all levels of a business
Desirable experience:
- NEBOSH qualification
- Internal auditing experience
- Experience conducting risk assessments and investigations
- Manufacturing, production, agriculture, food, FMCG, logistics, or industrial experience
