SourceCo are looking for an experienced chilled warehouse supervisor for a well-established food manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE SOME WEEKEND WORK.
The Role: As Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the chilled warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
Salary: £40,900 per annum (45 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, motivate, train, and support warehouse and yard staff
- Ensure safe working practices and company procedures are followed
- Monitor chilled warehouse conditions and ensure products are stored correctly
- Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate warehouse paperwork and records
- Complete daily stock checks and ensure correct stock rotation
- Ensure customer orders are accurate and dispatched to a high standard
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Check vehicle refrigeration
