The Role: As Transport Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading and developing UK and international transport operations, ensuring all movements are carried out safely, efficiently, compliantly, and in a cost-effective manner while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring maximum vehicle availability, compliance, and effective preventative maintenance.
- Ensure full adherence to Operator Licence requirements, road transport legislation, and company procedures.
- Monitor and manage driver compliance, including tachograph regulations, drivers hours, and working time requirements.
