The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

Pay: £12.71-£13.57 per hour

Our client based in Hereford is looking for food production operatives to join their team. No experience is necessary, full training is provided on commencement of the assignment.

As a food production operative, you'll be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Our client's site operates across two factories:

  • Factory 1 is responsible for processing, whole bird production & portioning
  • Factory 2 is responsible for portioning & added value

Responsibilities include:

  • Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch
  • Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg

Requirements:

  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Our Client is one of the UK's leading food businesses, supplying chicken & turkey to the country's major supermarkets and well-known restaurants. They own and manage their entire supply chain, from farms to factory and all the way to the customer door.

Additional information:

  • Pay: £12.21ph + £0.42 Shift Premium per hour

  • 05:00-14:00 / 14:00-23:00 rotational shift pattern Monday to Friday
