HGV Class 1 Driver Measham
SourceCo Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics operation in Measham and are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team.
We have opportunities available across day and night shifts, offering competitive pay rates and regular work.
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods, ensuring all loads are transported securely and in line with company and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and professionally
- Completing deliveries and collections as required
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately
- Adhering to drivers' hours, working time regulations and road safety requirements
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
Pay & Shifts
- Day Shift: £18.04 per hour, including holiday pay
- Night Shift: £19.16 per hour, including holiday pay
- Regular ongoing work available
- Based in Measham
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- A strong understanding of drivers' hours and road transport regulations
- A professional attitude and good communication skills
- Reliability and a commitment to safe working practices
