Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products efficiently and accurately within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for mechanical work to develop their skills further.
Hours of work: 7.00am to 4:00pm (30 Minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays
Pay Rate: £12.71ph
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing or assembling components in accordance with drawings or customers requirements.
- Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.
- Inspecting, identifying and packing company products.
- Responsibilities as listed in Health & Safety Policy
- Assistance in working for other departments when necessary.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Mechanical assembly experience.
- Able to use hand tools.
- Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ideally have electrical assembly experience.
- Trained in manual handling techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Good time management.
- Use of initiative.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent communicator.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail.
