We're recruiting for a Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to join a well-established food production business in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a health & safety professional who enjoys a varied role, combining compliance, training delivery, auditing and continuous improvement within a fast-paced operational environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining site standards, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring employees are trained, competent and compliant with company and industry requirements.

The Role

  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Supporting health & safety compliance across the site
  • Delivering training, inductions and toolbox talks
  • Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance reporting
  • Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Monitoring training records and competency assessments
  • Supporting hygiene, welfare and operational standards
  • Working closely with site management to drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • IOSH qualification (essential)
  • Experience delivering training within a workplace environment
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage employees at all levels
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance checks
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Internal auditing experience
  • Experience within agriculture, food production, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
