Our client based in Hereford is looking for Weekend Hygiene Operatives to join their team. No experience is necessary, full training is provided on commencement of the assignment.

As a Weekend Hygiene Operative, you will play an instrumental part in achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team. You will adhere to health and safety at all times and follow all tasks in line with food safety rules. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas.

Duties Include:

  • Manual handling of plant and equipment
  • Isolation of plant and machinery
  • To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/Management

What you need to be successful:

  • Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
  • Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
  • Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
  • To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
  • Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines.
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours of Work:

Saturday 1800-0600/Sunday 1800-0200 or Saturday 11:00-19:00/Sunday 21:00-05:00

Pay: £13.02 plus £2.46 shift premium or Saturday 1100-1900 / Sunday 2100-0500 Pay: £13.02 plus £1.71 shift premium.
