Source Co Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner on behalf of a well-established and growing transport and logistics business operating across the UK and Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected logistics provider supporting customers across a variety of sectors including commercial, retail, events and specialist transport.

Salary: Starting at £30k per annum Working hours:8am until 6pm Monday to Friday The Role As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating daily transport operations, ensuring vehicles are utilised efficiently while delivering outstanding service to customers.

One day you could be planning complex transport schedules, the next supporting drivers on the road, coordinating international movements or resolving operational challenges to ensure deliveries remain on track.

Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate UK and European transport movements.

Monitor and adjust transport schedules to meet changing customer requirements.

Obtain collection and delivery information and ensure accurate communication across the operation.

Ensure compliance with transport legislation and industry regulations.

Participate in out-of-hours operational support on a rota basis when required.

About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy transport environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Essential Experience Previous experience within transport planning, logistics coordination or fleet operations.

Good understanding of transport legislation and compliance.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Experience building positive working relationships with customers, drivers and colleagues.

Desirable Experience of international transport operations.

Understanding of vehicle maintenance and fleet management.

Experience within specialist logistics, events or time-critical transport operations.
