SourceCo Recruitment are seeking a meticulous and hands-on Setter/Operator to join a specialist manufacturing company based in Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business operating within a highly specialised industry. The Role: As a Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating specialist rolling, bonding, and slitting machinery to produce high-precision materials to extremely tight tolerances. This role requires patience, excellent attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work confidently with delicate materials. You will also support wider production activities and receive comprehensive training to become competent across a variety of specialist machinery.
Salary: Up to £30k per annum depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm. Overtime opportunities available, including weekday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set up and operate specialist rolling and bonding machinery to manufacture products to extremely precise tolerances.
- Operate slitting machinery.
