Location: Region based, multiple locations available
Salary: £45,000 base salary. Lots of overtime available takes you into the £65,000 + region. Overtime paid at premium rate after 40 hours. Call outs are paid at double time.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm core hours
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Experience with maintaining, servicing and repairing overhead cranes, material handling equipment and hoists components
- Fault finding and diagnostics experience
- Mechanical and electrical experience
- A current UK driving license and able to work at heights.
Duties will Include:
- Carry out ongoing improvements projects.
- Reasonable travel throughout the local area and UK
- Maintain on a daily basis the machinery and plant on site in a safe and responsible manner.
- Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to line manager.
- Perform trouble shooting to solve minor repair issues
- Diagnose fault, repair and return equipment to operational service.
- Planning maintenance and reactive repairs, along with continually looking for improvements for future processes.
