SourceCo Recruitment are looking for a Logistics Coordinator for a long-term client in the heart of Redditch.

In this role, youll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently across the UK.

The Working Hours:

Tuesday to Friday 19:00pm - 07:00am (will include some weekend working)

Your Responsibilities:

Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email

Plan, book, and track shipments across road and airfreight services

Provide accurate quotations for UK and European transport

Source and liaise with transport suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions

Handle time-critical and line stoppage situations with urgency

Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on job progress

Ensure accurate system input, job completion, and documentation management (PODs, purchase orders, etc.)

Review routes and suppliers to maximise efficiency and profitability

Coordinate closely with warehouse, operations, and accounts teams

Monitor KPIs and ensure service levels are consistently achieved

Maintain accurate system data and ensure timely file closure and invoicing readiness

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Proven experience within transport planning or freight forwarding

Strong knowledge of UK and European transport operations

Experience with time-critical, airfreight, and road freight solutions xehkeey

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise under pressure

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in system/data management

Computer literate (MS Office and transport systems)

CPC qualification (advantageous but not essential)
