We're recruiting for a Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to join a well-established food production business in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a health & safety professional who enjoys a varied role, combining compliance, training delivery, auditing and continuous improvement within a fast-paced operational environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining site standards, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring employees are trained, competent and compliant with company and industry requirements.
The Role
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Supporting health & safety compliance across the site
- Delivering training, inductions and toolbox talks
- Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance reporting
- Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Monitoring training records and competency assessments
- Supporting hygiene, welfare and operational standards
- Working closely with site management to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- IOSH qualification (essential)
- Experience delivering training within a workplace environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage employees at all levels
- Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance checks
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
- NEBOSH qualification
- Internal auditing experience
- Experience within agriculture, food production, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
