THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to take full day-to-day responsibility for a modern laying farm in North Yorkshire.
This is a hands-on, farm-based position for someone with strong livestock experience who is passionate about animal welfare, husbandry and farm management.
You will take responsibility for the site's livestock, production standards, biosecurity, health and safety, cost management and day-to-day operations, while supervising staff and third-party contractors.
The role is hygiene-focused and may involve working in a potentially noisy environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take full day-to-day responsibility for the farm and livestock operation.
Maintain optimal environmental conditions and ensure strict biosecurity standards.
Oversee egg production and grading, ensuring consistently high standards are maintained.
Supervise farm employees and third parties working on site.
