Night Hygiene Operatives needed - As soon as possible starts. Our client based in Wrexham is looking for a Night Hygiene Operative to join their team. Previous experience would be desirable, but full training is provided on commencement of the assignment.
About the role: As a Night Hygiene Operative you’ll be involved in the efficient cleaning of the factory to required hygiene standards. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is refrigerated in some areas.
Duties Include:
- Adherence to all hygiene policies and procedures.
- Cleaning all machinery, equipment and areas in the factory to a visually clean standard.
- Cleaning all machines, equipment and areas in the factory so that micro-organisms are destroyed or reduced to such levels that they are neither harmful to health nor the quality of perishable foods.
- Dismantling and the rebuilding of machinery and equipment.
- The safe operation of cleaning equipment.
- Using chemicals safely and appropriately.
- Reporting health and safety hazards and serious incidents.
- To ensure cleaning operations are conducted in compliance with customer specifications, whilst meeting quality, productivity and cost targets.
- Ensure COSHH compliance and also safe working with chemical training.
- Role may also require cleaning at height tasks, this would involve the use of a Cherry picker and training will be provided.
- Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines and procedures at all times by ensuring the use of correct PPE at all times and safe systems of work.
- Working to Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC’s).
What you need to be successful:
- Good Level of English and basic numeracy skills.
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.

Hours of Work: Operative - Rotational shift pattern. Week 1: Monday 18:00pm-06:00am, Tuesday to Friday 22:30pm - 06:00am. Week 2: Tuesday to Friday 22:30pm - 06:00am, Saturday 18:00pm - 06:00am.
