SourceCo are hiring for a well established and forward thinking organisation within the food manufacturing sector, who are looking to appoint an Administration Lead to support their operations team. This is a key role focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day to day administrative and financial processes across multiple sites.
The Role
Reporting into senior management and working closely with the finance function, you will take ownership of administrative processes, ensuring accurate and timely data handling, supporting financial controls, and driving improvements across systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate administrative processes across multiple operational sites
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and period end activity checks
- Manage and maintain master data across internal systems
- Reconcile production and operational data across platforms
- Oversee external invoicing processes
- Manage purchase order controls and related processes
- Monitor and control overhead GRNI
- Support manual data entry where required
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Work closely with finance to resolve queries and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with site based administrators
- Provide support and cover across the wider admin function
- Produce ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Maintain supplier, raw material, and product data within systems
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Experience working across multiple IT systems
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and highly organised approach
Desirable:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle)
- Experience with production or stock management systems
