SourceCo are currently working with a well established and growing food manufacturing business who are looking to add an Electrical Installation & Test Engineer to their engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and electrical installation work across a busy production and distribution site. If you enjoy problem solving, working on varied machinery, and being part of a proactive engineering team this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site
  • Responding to breakdowns and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical installation work (single & three phase)
  • Fault finding and resolving issues on automated machinery
  • Supporting on-site electrical projects
  • Conducting inspections, testing, and compliance checks
  • Ensuring all work meets health & safety standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Electrical Engineer with:
  • C&G 2391-51 (Inspection, Testing & Certification)
  • 18th Edition (Amendment 2)
  • Level 3 Initial Verification qualification
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working with high speed / automated machinery (ideally FMCG)
  • Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Proactive, reliable, and quality driven
