Our client based in Hereford is looking for food production operatives to join their team. No experience is necessary, full training is provided on commencement of the assignment.
About the role
As a food production operative you will be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. You will work in a fast‑paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. Our client's site operates across two factories:
- Factory 1 is responsible for processing, whole bird production and portioning
- Factory 2 is responsible for portioning and added value
Duties Include:
- Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch
- Labelling and grading of products
- Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20 kg
What you need to be successful:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
