We are proud to represent a leading service provider based in Bromsgrove who are expanding their operational team.

This role will be an exciting opportunity to work alongside the MD of a business with big ambitions and a commitment towards delivering operational excellence across their customer base.

What you’ll need

  • Exceptional Organisational skills – ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Communication skills – excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills – ability to build trust, act as a bridge between parties, and navigate political dynamics.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills – ability to analyse information, identify key issues, and propose solutions to complex problems.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality – experience handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

The Role

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the MD
  • Track key operational deadlines and ensure deliverables are met across teams.
  • Support day-to-day business operations by working closely with different departments to improve customer experience.
  • Proactively manage and coordinate the MD\’s diary, scheduling meetings, calls and site visits to optimise productivity, ensuring the MD is fully prepared for all meetings and commitments with briefings, agendas and relevant documentation.
  • Organise and attend key internal and external meetings, take minutes and ensure follow up actions are tracked and completed.
  • Assist with project coordination and implementation of business process or initiatives
  • Triage customer issues by assessing urgency and impact, escalating if necessary to the appropriate team member
  • Keeping the MD informed of issues, resolution status and any themes or trends that may require attention.
  • Managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Ensuring the MD\’s time is protected to focus on business critical tasks
