SourceCo are looking to recruit HGV C+E Shunters to start ASAP The opportunity – SourceCo Driving are proud to represent a local well-known business delivering Chilled produce to NDC, RDC, CDC, and larger stores. Are you an experienced, proactive and dependable Class 1 HGV Shunter looking for a new opportunity? SourceCo seeking an HGV Shunter to join our clients Haulage team at the Tewkesbury Depot. This pivotal role is perfect for someone with a Class 1, Category C+E licence who enjoys hands-on work and has a keen eye for detail. As an HGV Shunter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring trailers are in the right place at the right time and that goods are secured and ready for transport. Hours of work – * Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (Apply online only) – 48 hours per week Pay rates – £41,204.80 per annum Start date – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE Location – Tewkesbury What does the role involve ? * Safely shunting vehicles and safe coupling and uncoupling trailers * Monitoring and reporting vehicle damage and performing regular checks including tire checks * Making sure that fridges are running constantly and that the electrical connections are secure and undamaged * Collecting and returning vehicles for servicing as needed 12 Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Drivers must have their category C+E Licence with no more than 6 points with no TT’s, IN’s, TS, DR, or DD codes showing.
