SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Metal Fabricator for a well-known client based in Bromsgrove on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in fabrication and MIG welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings and produce high-quality components. You will be confident working with aluminium and mild steel, using a range of hand and power tools, and have a strong understanding of basic engineering processes.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
- OT Available
Salary:
- £31,200 per annum + OT
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate aluminium and mild steel components from technical drawings
- Carry out MIG welding to a high standard
- Cut, fold, and bend sheet metal in line with design specifications
- Measure and shape materials using hand and power tools
- Perform basic engineering tasks including drilling, tapping, threading, and countersinking
- Work collaboratively within a team to meet production deadlines
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator
- Strong MIG welding experience working with Aluminium and Steel
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Good numerical skills for accurate measuring and calculations
- Strong communication skills and team-focused attitude
