SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a busy and growing automotive parts distribution branch. This is a hands-on leadership role combining stock control, sales growth, customer service, and operational supervision. If you have experience within lorry/HGV parts, automotive parts, or a similar technical trade environment, and enjoy balancing commercial performance with operational excellence — this could be the role for you.
The Role
- Stock & Inventory Control
- Managing imprest and owned stock to high accuracy standards
- Maintaining stock levels, rotation and housekeeping
- Ensuring strong compliance with company processes and procedures
- Sales & Business Development
- Driving new business opportunities and securing new accounts
- Growing and managing existing customer relationships
- Working to agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Promoting products and services within the truck, trailer or related sectors
- Customer Service
- Acting as the professional face of the branch
- Delivering excellent service face to face and over the phone
- Resolving queries efficiently and commercially
- Operational Leadership
- Supporting delivery operations and route planning
- Supervising team members and promoting best practice
- Reporting on stock, sales and performance to management
- Ensuring deadlines and service levels are consistently achieved
- Health, Safety & Fire Compliance
- Maintaining a safe, compliant working environment
- Conducting risk assessments and workplace checks
- Leading health & safety culture within the branch
- Acting as Fire Marshal and supporting fire drills
About You
- Experienced in stock handling and sales (ideally truck/trailer or automotive parts)
- Commercially aware and confident making sound decisions
- Organised and process driven
- Comfortable working independently while reporting into management
- Target driven with experience in KPI environments
- Hands-on, proactive and operationally minded
- Strong in customer communication and relationship building
