SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a busy and growing automotive parts distribution branch. This is a hands-on leadership role combining stock control, sales growth, customer service, and operational supervision. If you have experience within lorry/HGV parts, automotive parts, or a similar technical trade environment, and enjoy balancing commercial performance with operational excellence — this could be the role for you.

The Role

  • Stock & Inventory Control
    • Managing imprest and owned stock to high accuracy standards
    • Maintaining stock levels, rotation and housekeeping
    • Ensuring strong compliance with company processes and procedures
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Driving new business opportunities and securing new accounts
    • Growing and managing existing customer relationships
    • Working to agreed sales targets and KPIs
    • Promoting products and services within the truck, trailer or related sectors
  • Customer Service
    • Acting as the professional face of the branch
    • Delivering excellent service face to face and over the phone
    • Resolving queries efficiently and commercially
  • Operational Leadership
    • Supporting delivery operations and route planning
    • Supervising team members and promoting best practice
    • Reporting on stock, sales and performance to management
    • Ensuring deadlines and service levels are consistently achieved
  • Health, Safety & Fire Compliance
    • Maintaining a safe, compliant working environment
    • Conducting risk assessments and workplace checks
    • Leading health & safety culture within the branch
    • Acting as Fire Marshal and supporting fire drills

About You

  • Experienced in stock handling and sales (ideally truck/trailer or automotive parts)
  • Commercially aware and confident making sound decisions
  • Organised and process driven
  • Comfortable working independently while reporting into management
  • Target driven with experience in KPI environments
  • Hands-on, proactive and operationally minded
  • Strong in customer communication and relationship building
