Job Title: Field Service Engineer, field based. Over Head Cranes Location: West Bromwich, Midlands Based Salary: £37,000 to £45,000 Base per annum Overtime paid at premium rate after 40 hours Call outs are paid at double time Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Skills and Experience Needed: Experience with maintaining, servicing and repairing overheard cranes, material handling equipment and hoists components Fault finding and diagnostics experience Mechanical and electrical experience A current UK driving license and able to work at heights. Duties will Include: Carry out ongoing improvements projects. Reasonable travel throughout the local area and UK Maintain on a daily basis the machinery and plant on site in a safe and responsible manner. Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to line manager. Perform trouble shooting to solve minor repair issues Diagnose fault, repair and return equipment to operational service. Planning maintenance and reactive repairs, along with continually looking for improvements for future processes.
