We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced advanced practitioner/medical laboratory assistant that has worked in cellular pathology for at least 4 years.

- Training & Mentorship: You will be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff, BMS trainees, and apprentices, helping to develop the team and enhance service delivery.
This role will be rotational, participating in Specimen Reception/Dissection/Main Lab. The role will include the leadership and management of the team of laboratory reception assistants, medical laboratory assistants, laboratory scientists and a close partnership with the Biomedical Scientists. You will ensure the service is delivered efficiently to enable performance within KPI, making service improvements as required.

Qualifications
This post has no formal qualification requirements, although the candidate must have proven excellent skills and competencies in cellular pathology/histology. The candidate is expected to have at least 4 years practical experience in cellular pathology/histology.
Additional Information
Working Days: This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours over 5 days between Monday to Friday.
Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience.
