Role Responsibilities:
- Dissection of RCPath A-E specimens.
- Lead a team of BMS staff, expanding the repertoire and upskilling the team to deliver a top-class service.
- Opportunity to develop expertise in FISH enumeration, ER/PR/Her2, and MMR reporting.
- Requires a hands-on approach to service development and operational excellence, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working at band 6 or 7 level, ideally in histopathology with a strong background in histological dissection.
- Willingness to train in specialized reporting areas (For Example: FISH, ER/PR/Her2, MMR).
- A proactive attitude toward training and mentoring junior staff and contributing to service development.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Additional Information:
- Working Days: This is a full time position, 37.5 hours over 5 days between Monday and Saturday.
- Salary: AFC Band 7 equivalent (depending upon experience).
