STUDENT AMBASSADOR — SOURCE97 (MANCHESTER)

About us

Source97 is a brand activation network built by Gen Z, for Gen Z.

We connect international brands to university communities through people who are actually part of them — no cringe marketing, no out-of-touch campaigns, just students speaking to their own.

We've launched with major international client backing and live campaigns already running in Manchester.

This is the ground floor.

The role

As a Source97 Ambassador, you're the face of brand campaigns on your campus.

You'll represent our clients at events, activations and sampling days, create genuine buzz within your societies and networks, and feed back real insight on what's landing and what isn't.

You're not handing out flyers — you're the reason a brand connects with your campus or doesn't.

What you'll do

  • Run and support on-campus activations and events
  • Represent brands authentically within your own communities and societies
  • Share honest, on-the-ground insight that shapes how international campaigns are run
  • Work directly with the founding team — no layers, no hierarchy
  • Who we're looking for
  • Current student at the University of Manchester or Manchester Met, aged 20 or over
  • Genuinely plugged in — societies, sport, events, group chats; people know you
  • Reliable and professional — our clients are international brands and the standard is high
  • Comfortable talking to anyone
  • What you get
  • Paid, flexible work that fits around your timetable
  • Serious CV experience — hands-on brand activation work for international clients, the kind of real-world marketing experience most graduates don't have
  • Access to industry — exposure to senior brand and agency figures through the campaigns you work on, and the chance to build a network before you've even graduated
  • Founding cohort status — you're building this with us, not joining something finished
  • First access to bigger roles as we scale across the UK and beyond

We keep cohorts small and selective. If you're the person on your campus who makes things happen, we want to hear from you.
