Our client is looking for an electrically biased Field Service Engineer to join their established and growing engineering team based in Yateley, Hampshire. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems on-site, and delivering high-quality service to customers. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing industrial cranes and hoists, as well as supporting installations at client sites. The role offers real variety — travelling daily to different customer locations, managing your own workload, and representing the business on-site. While standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, flexibility is required due to travel. Overnight accommodation will be provided for jobs located more than two hours from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair industrial cranes and hoists
  • Diagnose electrical faults, including 3-phase systems
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service while on-site

About You:

  • Electrically qualified (C&G, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, or HNC/HND)
  • 18th Edition qualified (or willing to complete during employment)
  • Strong experience with 3-phase electrics, fault finding and maintenance
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexible, proactive and comfortable travelling regularly
  • Willing and able to work at heights
