Job Title: Warehouse / Logistics Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Based in Maidenhead

Salary: £25,486 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 (Flexibility required)

A reputable logistics client is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse / Logistics Operative to join their team. This is a varied and hands-on role offering long-term employment prospects for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately picking and packing orders from provided picking lists
• Creating consignments for shipment via couriers or company drivers
• Performing stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised, and safe
• Receiving deliveries and checking them against delivery notes
• Delivering to the airport locations using company vehicles
• Operating a forklift (training provided if necessary)
• Assessing repairs or replacement following claims (training provided)
• Ensuring compliance with data protection legislation
• Carrying out ad hoc duties as required by supervisors, management, or clients

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• A full, clean UK driving licence (no endorsements)
• Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirement for company van use)
• Comfortable driving to Heathrow, Gatwick, and into Central London
• Able to pass a Basic Disclosure (criminal record check) for Airport ID clearance
• Forklift certification is desirable but not essential
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
