Counterbalance Forklift Driver (Ongoing Temp)
Location: Plymouth
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Shifts: Sunday – Thursday
Hours: 21:30 – 06:30 (Night Shift)
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary
Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our clients busy warehouse team based in Plymouth. This is an ongoing temporary role, working night shifts alongside one other team member in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves both forklift operation and manual handling, so you must be comfortable with physical work.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Handballing goods when necessary (manual lifting required)
- Picking and packing orders
- Stock movement and replenishment
- General housekeeping within the warehouse
- Working as part of a small, close-knit team
- Following health & safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- A valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or equivalent)
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience
- Physically fit and happy to undertake manual tasks
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
