Hours: Monday to Friday | 11:30am – 8:30pm

Permanent | Full-Time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join their busy and growing logistics operation based in Colnbrook. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience, a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence, and a full UK driving licence who is looking for a long-term, permanent position. This is a varied role, combining warehouse duties with local collections and deliveries using a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
  • Receiving and checking inbound deliveries.
  • Organising stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Using warehouse IT systems to process shipments.
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
  • Completing local collections and deliveries in a company van.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
  • Working closely with the operations team to meet daily deadlines.

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using warehouse systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
  • Able to provide a full 5-year checkable employment history and successfully pass a DBS check.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within freight forwarding, logistics or air cargo.
  • Knowledge of warehouse scanning systems.
  • Experience handling import and export shipments.
