Our client is looking for a motivated Trainee Workshop Engineer to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience who is eager to learn a skilled, hands-on role within a growing manufacturing environment. You will rotate across multiple shop-floor departments, receiving full training and gaining practical experience in production, assembly, testing, and machine operation.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be trained to work across all shop-floor departments, including:
- Assembly
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
- Testing
- PCB Chemical department
- Machine operation
Your duties will include:
- Operating and maintaining SMT and production equipment
- Following detailed assembly instructions and technical processes
- Carrying out quality checks and assisting with fault finding
