Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00, Friday: 07:30 – 13:30

Our client is looking for a motivated Trainee Workshop Engineer to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience who is eager to learn a skilled, hands-on role within a growing manufacturing environment. You will rotate across multiple shop-floor departments, receiving full training and gaining practical experience in production, assembly, testing, and machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

You will be trained to work across all shop-floor departments, including:

  • Assembly
  • Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
  • Testing
  • PCB Chemical department
  • Machine operation

Your duties will include:

  • Operating and maintaining SMT and production equipment
  • Following detailed assembly instructions and technical processes
  • Carrying out quality checks and assisting with fault finding
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
