Are you a reliable and proactive individual looking to join a small but dynamic warehouse team? Our client is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day operations of a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment in Thatcham.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves a variety of warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and handling goods of various sizes and weights. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring care and quality
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
- Use computer systems to manage stock and orders
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Perform manual handling duties
- Check incoming and outgoing goods
- Carry out general ad-hoc warehouse tasks
- Use initiative and support the smooth running of the warehouse
- Develop a working knowledge of the company’s wide-ranging product range
