About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy store. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sales and people management experience who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and driving business performance. You will work closely with the Store Manager, taking ownership of key areas of the business and stepping up to lead the store in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales performance by maximising opportunities and converting enquiries
  • Support customers in making informed decisions through a consultative approach
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving queries and complaints professionally
  • Support, coach and motivate team members to achieve individual and store targets
  • Organise staff rotas, delegate tasks, and assist with performance management
  • Provide training and ongoing development to enhance team capability
  • Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Support the delivery of revenue and growth targets
  • Maintain high operational standards across all areas of the store
  • Ensure all company systems, policies and procedures are followed
