Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible, part-time role where you can take full ownership of the accounts? We’re working with a well-established and friendly business based in Twickenham that is looking for a confident and proactive Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while still being part of a supportive office environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing the company’s accounts through to trial balance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial processes. Working alongside two Client Accounting Managers, you will take full ownership of the office accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Posting payroll journals and liaising with payroll
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations and expense processing
- Managing payments to suppliers and handling queries
- Producing reports for Directors
- Supporting with year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants
About You
- AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
- Confident using Excel
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
