We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Night Shift Warehouse Operator to join their busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position.
The Role:
- Loading and unloading vehicles including vans and articulated lorries
- Picking, packing, sorting, and splitting shipments
- Manual handling of various types of cargo
- Using counterbalance forklift trucks (1.5t – 8t) where required
- Building, sorting, and maintaining pallet stocks
- Completing warehouse paperwork and updating systems
- Working alongside the Night Shift Leader to ensure smooth operations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Counterbalance forklift experience preferred
- Forklift licence desirable
- Comfortable with physical and manual handling duties
- Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
