Job Opportunity: Collections Account Manager (6-Month Contract)

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + 10% Bonus (post 2-month probation)

We are recruiting for an experienced Collections Account Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of vendor finance across multiple sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing collections and recoveries function within a professional, dynamic financial services environment.

What You'll Do:

• Chase arrears and manage allocation of cash for non-customer arrears
• Build strong relationships with broker and vendor partners to encourage timely payment
• Manage the billing of late payment interest when required
• Liaise with internal departments including Accounts for accurate cash allocation
• Assist with collections reporting, including compiling data for regulatory requirements
• Work in line with up-to-date procedures, policies, and compliance standards
• Ensure adherence to Consumer Credit legislation and Data Protection regulations
• Carry out administrative and ad hoc duties to support the wider team

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years’ experience in debt collection or credit control
• Strong Excel skills - particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with sound decision-making abilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Alfa systems is a bonus but not required
• Professional approach with a commitment to fairness and integrity
