Job Opportunity: Collections Account Manager (6-Month Contract)
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + 10% Bonus (post 2-month probation)

We are recruiting for an experienced Collections Account Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of vendor finance across multiple sectors . This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing collections and recoveries function within a professional, dynamic financial services environment.
What You'll Do:-
Chase arrears and manage allocation of cash for non-customer arrears

Build strong relationships with broker and vendor partners to encourage timely payment

Manage the billing of late payment interest when required

Liaise with internal departments including Accounts for accurate cash allocation

Assist with collections reporting, including compiling data for regulatory requirements

Work in line with up-to-date procedures, policies, and compliance standards

Ensure adherence to Consumer Credit legislation and Data Protection regulations

Carry out administrative and ad hoc duties to support the wider team
What We’re Looking For:
-
At least 2 years’ experience in debt collection or credit control

Strong Excel skills - particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Confident communicator with sound decision-making abilities

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with Alfa systems is a bonus but not required

Professional approach with a commitment to fairness and integrity

Be cooperative and transparent with regulators where applicable
