About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Toolmaker / Grinder to join our clients busy engineering team in Ash Vale. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manual/CNC machinist or toolroom engineer with a strong background in precision grinding to work within a well-established manufacturing environment. Working a 39-hour week with an early finish every Friday, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components to exact customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

- Surface grinding
- Cylindrical grinding
- Bore/Internal grinding
- Ring grinding
- Honing
- Working to fine tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Using precision measuring equipment to inspect finished components
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Meeting production schedules and customer deadlines while maintaining quality standards
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience as a manual/CNC machinist, toolmaker or toolroom engineer
- Strong grinding experience across various techniques
