Are you proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused? We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our client dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is key to ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient operation of warehouse functions — from goods-in to order fulfilment and outbound deliveries.
You must hold a current forklift licence (Counterbalance and Reach) to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock organization
- Load/unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment
- Scan, track, and accurately inventory incoming and outgoing items
- Process new stock, verifying against manifest documents
- Inspect and report on damaged or missing items
- Store, label, and stage goods for easy identification and dispatch
- Fulfil and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of tools, machinery, and work areas
- Comply with all health & safety guidelines and warehouse SOPs
- Support evening warehouse operations and collaborate effectively with team members
- Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance & Reach)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or goods-in role
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use standard warehouse IT systems
- A dependable, safety-conscious work ethic
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (including 2 fixed days over Christmas/New Year)
