We are looking for a permanent Warehouse/ Fine Art Packer for our client based in Langley.
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Duties:
- Professional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuables
- Packing and crating for local, domestic and international transport
- Professionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transport
- Inspecting of products to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transport
- Visit client premises to conduct site surveys, to ascertain access, best practices etc
- Expertly installing products, sculptures and high-end furniture
- Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos
- Communicating with operations team throughout the day
- Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces
Key Attributes:
- Thorough understanding and a minimum of 5 years experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting, and installing high end furniture, art and antiques
- Ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art and antiques
- Be physically fit
