We’re delighted to be recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst to join our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector based in Bracknell. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented analyst with solid financial services experience and a passion for delivering high-quality system solutions.

You’ll play a key role in both BAU activity and project-based work, supporting system enhancements, integrations, and new platform implementations. Working within an agile framework, you’ll collaborate closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure seamless delivery of business and technical requirements.

  • Supporting, maintaining, documenting, and configuring core business systems alongside the Senior Business Systems Analyst and wider IT team
  • Acting as a key liaison between IT and business users, providing support and resolving application issues
  • Managing BAU activities such as annual ACL, audit queries, and monthly compliance reporting
  • Analysing, documenting, and implementing system changes across configuration and integration points
  • Creating and refining business requirements to support system development
  • Translating business requirements into clear technical specifications for Technical Analysts
  • Coordinating IT and business testing activities, including issue tracking and analysis
  • Executing data-focused testing and validating outcomes against requirements
  • Reviewing and analysing testing issues, recommending effective solutions

Proven experience in a similar Business Systems Analyst role within financial services is required, along with a strong academic background in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Solid SQL experience, with strong ability in database querying is essential. Experience with financial leasing software such as Alfa is highly desirable, and knowledge of Sage X3 or similar general ledger systems is an advantage. Candidates should be experienced in project lifecycle delivery: analysis, design, build, test, and implementation, and familiar with ITSM tools and ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management). Strong business process mapping experience is also necessary.
