We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock, goods in/out, despatch and deliveries for our client based in Heston.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of drivers and warehouse staff, including training, development and performance management.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are correctly packed and despatched.
- Maintain accurate records and update relevant warehouse systems.
- Plan daily van routes using the company delivery software.
- Issue delivery notes and manage returned goods.
- Check and book in all goods received.
- Coordinate deliveries and installations for the interiors division, ensuring these are completed on time and arranging appropriate cover when required.
- Work closely with the Installations Manager and other departments, including Customer Experience and Sales, to keep customers updated and maintain strong working relationships.
- Pick products accurately using despatch documentation.
- Check product packaging and condition before despatch.
- Safely load and unload all vehicles, including goods-in deliveries and vans.
- Maintain a clean, organised warehouse with effective use of available space.
- Carry out health & safety checks and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Manage client deliveries using in-house software, coordinating approximately 5–6 van routes per day
About You
- Previous warehouse management and people-management experience.
- Highly organised with strong communication skills.
- Confident using IT and warehouse systems.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
