The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Business Finance Provider operating across the UK, offering a supportive and professional working environment.
This role is suited to an experienced Collections professional within financial services, with a strong background in early-stage arrears management.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of mid-stage arrears cases (60-90 days)
- Work proactively to bring accounts back into good standing
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt and sustainable repayment
- Apply late payment interest where applicable
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate payment allocation
- Carry out general collections administration
- Ensure all activity is conducted in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in financial services collections
- Proven experience handling early-stage arrears
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet targets
- Confident decision-maker with a proactive approach
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Good Excel skills
- Experience within asset finance environments is advantageous
