Overview
Digital & Social Marketing Lead – £DOE – London / Hybrid (3 days). Integrated creative & content agency seeking an entrepreneurial lead to build out their social-first division—setting the proposition, winning work, and shaping a team across EMEA & North America.
The Digital & Social Marketing Lead will be pivotal to defining social strategy, content and influencer, paid media, measurement, and seamless integration with creative and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & lead a new social/digital division: define positioning, ways of working, KPIs and growth plan
- Win business: leverage your network to open doors and start billing within 3 months; craft creds, pitch narratives and pricing
- Set the strategy: own social & content strategy across paid/organic, influencer, creators and community; make complex programs simple and sellable
- Deliver excellence: partner with creative/production to ship platform-native work that performs; establish measurement frameworks (ROAS, engagement, lift)
- Grow the team: phase hires (producer, influencer specialist, social creative/design) and build a high-performance culture
- Work across regions: shape multi-market plans and governance
Key Requirements
- 10+ years in digital & social (agency/entertainment/media ideal) with a track record of launching or transforming a business unit
- Proven new-business hunter: strong client network you can activate; confident pitch lead and closer
- Deep platform fluency (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) across paid, content, influencer and measurement
- Commercially sharp: pricing, scoping, resourcing and margin discipline; comfortable setting targets and reporting performance
- Team builder and leader across regions; excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on and calm under pace—able to roll sleeves up and lead from the front
