Want to shape the creative strategy of a high-growth beauty brand? Do you understand why beauty customers buy – and how to turn that insight into ads that scale? This is a performance-led, commercially focused role sitting at the intersection of psychology, data, and creative execution. You will own the creative testing roadmap, turning customer insight and performance signals into high-converting ads and landing page concepts. You’ll report to the Head of Growth and work closely with media buyers, designers, editors, and creators in a fast-moving, high-iteration environment. Your work will directly influence CAC, hook rate, hold rate, CVR, and overall revenue performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop structured ad concepts rooted in customer pain points, reviews, surveys, support tickets, competitor research, and platform trends (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
- Translate product benefits into clear hooks, angles, scripts, and visual storylines built to convert.
- Build and manage a structured creative testing roadmap based on hypotheses and performance data.
- Analyse metrics including thumbstop ratio, hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and CVR to identify winning patterns and fatigue signals.
- Turn performance insights into fast, structured creative iterations.
- Write clear, commercially focused briefs for designers, video editors, UGC creators, and influencers.
- Provide script structures, shot lists, hook variations, and messaging hierarchy to ensure strategic clarity.
- Develop landing page messaging including above-the-fold positioning, offer framing, objection handling, and social proof structures.
- Ensure strong message match between ads and landing pages in collaboration with design and CRO.
- Build and maintain a creative insights library of winning hooks, angles, patterns, and scripts.
Key requirements
- 2-5+ years’ experience in DTC marketing, performance creative, creative strategy, or paid social environments.
- Experience in beauty, wellness, or supplements strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of developing ad concepts that scaled.
- Experience working closely with media buyers or growth teams.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, emotional triggers, and direct response marketing principles.
- Excellent copywriting and scripting capability.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable creative decisions.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-iteration environment.
- Commercially minded, curious, and confident providing direct creative feedback.
