Solutions Architect (C#, .NET)

Solution Architect 6 month initial contract £London based, 2 days a week in office Key Technologies: Java, Kafka, OpenShift, Oracle/SQL Our client, a major player in the Financial Services infrastructure space, is launching a multi-year transformation to migrate a critical legacy settlement system from COBOL and HPE NonStop to a modern, platform-independent architecture. We are looking for a Solution Architect to take technical ownership of this transformation and help drive delivery across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, security, infrastructure and architecture teams to ensure consistency, quality and alignment with strategic goals. Delivering end-to-end solution architecture, from high-level design to proof-of-concepts and implementation Leading and mentoring technical teams through design and implementation Proven experience architecting solutions using event hub technology such as Kafka Strong Java and object-oriented design background Exposure to Oracle , SQL Server , and general database design Working in regulated environments or financial market infrastructure Familiarity with financial messaging standards (ISO 15022, ISO 20022) Exposure to IBM MQ , Angular , or HPE NonStop Agile experience
